Little Dixie Headstart / Early Headstart

Healthy Marriage

	The Little Dixie Head Start/Early Head Start is now offering relationship enhancement classes through the Little Dixie Healthy Marriage Initiative. Classes are available to anyone who has a Head Start eligible child within their family. (This includes parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and adolescent teen siblings.) Classes will be offered to couples and singles who are interested in building healthy relationships. Little Dixie along with the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative have partnered to provide PREP and Within My Reach curriculum to all qualifying families in Choctaw, Pushmataha, and McCurtain counties.
Scheduling for each class is determined based on the participants’ needs. Free childcare will be provided on-site during the classes. Dinner will be provided for all that attend including children. There are also many wonderful incentives that will be given during the classes.
	PREP and Within My Reach is a research based curriculum which focuses on positive communication skills and positive conflict resolution.
